Butterfly House
A Butterfly House is a Building in FarmVille 2, available for a limited time, until 24th of April 2013. After placing the Butterfly House, some building materials are needed to finish the Building.
10 Flower Cutting, of which 9 already given.- 10 Bronze Hinge, of which 9 already given.
- 10 Coral Paint, of which 9 already given.
After that maximum 4 neighbors are needed to finish the Butterfly house. The required number of builders depends upon how many neighbours you have. For example If you have more then you need 4 builders, if you have only 5 neighbours then only 1 builder required and remaining 3 pre-filled. What to do[]
The butterfly house then gives you the ability to catch butterflies with big and small butterfly nets. Also harvesting trees on your own farm gives you a chance of catching butterflies, as well as that some limited time recipe at the workshop make you able to catch enough butterflies to get all 4 rewards, and the final Black Clydesdale (requires 188 butterflies).
How to catch butterflies[]
- You can catch butterflies with big and small nets. They can be requested with neighbors. The nets are to be used with limited time recipes at the workshop for getting butterflies.
- You can get butterflies from harvesting trees at your own farm.
- You can get butterflies from quests.
- You can get butterflies from your feed, or if you play on Zynga.com, on the Right Rail.
- You can get butterflies from clicking on the links for butterflies at this link exchange.
Nice to know[]
- Butterflies are stored in the Butterfly House even if you don't have the building finished. Without the building, you don't store them.
- The more butterflies you have caught, the more will fly around your Butterfly House.
- The four rewards: Butterfly Flowerpot, Butterfly Chair, Purple Lilac Tree, and Butterfly Terrarium can be bought with Farm Bucks as well.

Start of the building process of the Butterfly House. Once you reach level 10 this will automatically pop up.
First building phase of the Butterfly House, requires some materials. 9 of them are given to you already.
Second building phase from the Buttefly House requires help of neighbors. 2 of them are provided already.
Once finished, the Butterfly House will give you the ability to catch butterflies with large and small nets. Butterflies are NOT added to your inventory, but added to the total at the Butterfly House.
If you harvest trees at your farm, use large or small butterfly nets or make that limited time recipes at the workshop, you will be catching butterflies. You need 188 in total to get the final reward, the Clydesdale horse.
If you did your utmost best, caught that 188 butterflies, you get the final reward, the Black Clydesdale. Congratulations!
